From "the Magician's Nephew", when the queen was just unfrozen from Polly and Diggory and she shows them the wasteland of Charn. I highly suggest reading the first book in the Narnia series, it was great.

I wanted to bring out the concept of the garden of Eden in this one, after all, this was the first time we knew of a serpent. I wanted the slytherin model to be snide, elegant and cold as well.
